{Pin-tastic Tuesday} Dollar Tree Pinterest Contest

Ya'll know that I dig Dollar Tree for various items to use for parties.  When I got my weekly email from Dollar Tree I was excited to find that they were holding a Pinterest contest where you Pin various products from the site and create a board with those items using a party theme of your choice.  The winner gets a $100 Dollar Tree gift card!

I automatically chose cupcakes for my themes and came up with a lil' sumthin-sumthin' for the board.  Here are a few items I selected.

All Photos via Dollar Tree

You can see more from this board here along with tips on how I would use the items for a party.  You can also check out some of the other items being pinned by other people or create your own to enter the contest!

{Pin-tastic Tuesday} Melon Mango Tango

Inspired by a delicious cocktail I saw on another Pinterest board, I created these soft but vibrant colors to use in an upcoming party set.  They remind me of something very tropical....and now all I can think of is watermelon margaritas, white sand, and gentle breezes!

I created a Pinterest board with these colors in mind.  You can find direct links to the photos under the collage and a link to my board here.

Melon Rumballa
Orange Cake

Chervon Paper Sacks

I can't wait to whip up a summertime party set using these colors - I love them!

{Pin-tastic Tuesday} Chasing Rainbows

St. Patty's Day is upon us and I am feeling a lot of rainbow love this year.  Here are a few rainbow themed images that I pinned to my Prism Pinterest Board.

Rainbows  make me happy and want to skip!  I  remember trying to chase them as a kid to find a pot of gold....go figure.  These days, as I watch my little girl grow, everyday I  laugh at the funny things she does and how she reminds me of myself as a child....and even sometimes as an adult.

When I was growing up, I lived an area where I could feel like chasing rainbows was very real and magical, and luckily my neighborhood felt that way - it was called Dreamy Hollow, after all.  I know times have changed and I doubt I'd let her 3 feet from our house to even chase a butterfly, but I hope that no matter where the Mini Diva goes, that she will always be chasing rainbows and eventually find that pot o' gold!

{Pintastic Tuesday} Valentine's Inspiration

I love today's pin because it was inspired by the Pink Hearts Valentine's Day Party kit I designed. Pink and grey are such a good color combination. I think this color works best for showers and weddings....or anything symbolizing love.   There are some really great ideas on this board for party crafts & decor!

Head on over to pinterest for more pink & grey inspiration.  Be sure to take a look at the other Cupcake Wishes & Birthday Dreams Pinterest Boards while you are there. If you haven't started pinning yet, but want to I'd love to invite you to the pintastic fun of it all.  Send me an email at kikikens8375@gmail.com to request an invite.  If you already are a 'pinner' I'd love to see your boards.  Follow me and I'll follow back!
