Now onto the party recap!!!!

This party was a fun mash up of two rival baseball teams that both parents individually route for.  I definitely had a challenge in front of me, but I think the end result was a HOME RUN (.....aaaah, c'mon, you knew that was coming, haha!)

I set up the table with lots of baseball props that I found EVERYWHERE (thrift shops, Target, my closet - haha!)  I embellished many of the items with baseball themed sticker.  Even though I had plenty of printables on hand, I wanted to do something a bit different.  The table was set up as a concession stand and included boxed candies, Boston Baked Beans, Baby Ruth candy bars and gumballs.  I used a variety of containers to display the sweets, like wire baskets, tin pails and mason jars.  I also used wooden crates and boxes as risers and set up a sweet vignette that included a striped bear, baby items, a baseball and mitt and a wooden monogram E for baby Evan!

I found a framed chalkboard at Michaels for like a $1 and decorated it with stickers.  The numbers indicate the baby's due date (always thinkin').

This wooden doll cradle is now a staple in my party stash and will be used for other baby showers....yes, it's a cradle!!!!  We put popcorn in bags and placed them in the cradle - cute, eh?

Peanuts were added to embellished mason jars for that old timey ball-park look.

Since the event took place after lunch - lite stadium 'cuisine' was served....I love these mini pretzel dogs - super cute & fun!

Guest got to go home with candy striped bags filled with peanuts with a tag that said Thanks for celebrating our little peanut !!!!

Best wishes to Paige & Mike - and lots of love to you and your Little Slugger!!!!
